The Lancaster Barnstormers did just enough to sneak past the Lincoln Bighorns, 6-5, at ONEOK Field. Lancaster pitcher Callan Shanklin, in particular, had a standout performance. Shanklin got the win, improving to 3-2. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Lincoln drops to 9-11.

Lancaster used the timely hitting of Wyatt Calabaza to capture the win. The third baseman stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Barnstormers on top, 6-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Lancaster manager Josh Bieber.
