The Lincoln Bighorns rode a solid performance from 23-year-old starting pitcher Phil Meyer to a win, beating the Altoona Curve, 4-1, at ONEOK Field. Meyer, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 8, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. Getting the save was Harry Magallanes, his 5th.

Lincoln took advantage of an error in the bottom of the sixth inning. The game was tied, 0-0, when Caiden Criswell hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Bighorns in front, 2-0.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Lincoln skipper Jackson Ladue. "I can't complain."

The win gives Lincoln a record of 12-7.
