The Midland RockHounds picked up a win at Dr. Pepper Ballpark, knocking off the Frisco RoughRiders, 6-2. Starting pitcher Victor Catoe was a big reason why. Picking up the save was 26-year old right-handed pitcher Anthony Darbonne. The RockHounds are now 52-42, while the RoughRiders fall to 48-46.

Midland used the timely hitting of Harrison Reese to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the RockHounds on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Reese called the win "an overall solid one."
