Friend Sensational for Biscuits
Murray Friend was outstanding against Pensacola. The left-hander had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Biscuits 6-1 win. With the win over Pensacola, the Biscuits improved to 60-36.

Friend, the winner, is now 6-3. In 8.1 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while collecting 9 Ks. He essentially shut down the Pensacola offense.

"Murray was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Montgomery manager Hector Bonilla.
