In a tight tilt between Binghamton and Gateway, pitcher Austin Roth was a key contributor. The right-hander earned accolades for his standout performance in the 3-0 Rumble Ponies win. Aden Boyle stitched up the save, his 5th.

Binghamton used the hitting of Gaspar Primo to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Rumble Ponies on top, 1-0. For the game, Primo had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"Austin had himself a pretty good evening," said Binghamton manager Zane Tharp.
