Behind the hitting of Lisandro Villanueva, the Halifax Frigates stopped the Bowie Baysox, 9-5. Villanueva belted 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Frigates. Gavin Gomel collected save number 1. Halifax goes to 8-9.

With Halifax leading 5-3 in the top of the third, Villanueva hit a fastball from Max Reed for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Frigates ahead, 9-3.

"We came out aggressive," said Frigates manager Ruben Figueredo. "We came out swinging the bats."
