Missions Need Extra Frames to Get Past Biscuits
The San Antonio Missions needed 14 innings to defeat the Montgomery Biscuits, 8-4, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. San Antonio first baseman Millard Andresen had a superb performance. He went 3 for 6 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winner was Alejandro Menchaca in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Sam Rhodes took the loss. The Missions are now 33-59, while the Biscuits fall to 64-28.

San Antonio needed the clutch hitting of Will Antillon to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the 14th inning to put the Missions on top, 5-4. For the game, Antillon had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

Said Montgomery manager Hector Bonilla: "They did a lot of things right. We did a lot of things wrong."
