Engineers Lose to Scouts in Walk-Off
The Chattanooga Scouts dealt the Shreveport Engineers a 5-4 loss in 10 innings at AT&T Field. Wayne Weber was the star on offense. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Chattanooga now sits at 47-39, while Shreveport falls to 57-29.

The Scouts got a clutch hit from third baseman Camden Thomas. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Scouts.

"There's no victory at bargain basement prices," Weber told a reporter after the game.
