The Frisco RoughRiders picked up a win at Biloxi Grounds, dropping the Biloxi Shuckers, 6-1. Randy Flowers, who is tied for 10th in the SL with a 1.15 WHIP, was the difference-maker. Flowers, now 5-5, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 1, walking 1, and allowing no runs. After today's action, Frisco sits at 49-32; Biloxi slips to 36-45.

A.J. Palacios delivered a big hit for Frisco. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the RoughRiders ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Flowers after the game.
