Proctor Socks 2 Home Runs in 6-4 Shreveport Win

Eric Proctor, who is tied for 3rd in the SL in home runs with 17, knocked in all 6 runs for the Shreveport Engineers, helping them beat the Alexandria Aces, 6-4. Shreveport pitcher Malcolm Beverly earned the win, hiking his record to 6-2. Binky Goins suffered the loss. Shreveport's record now stands at 48-33, placing them second in the Southern League Texas Division.
Early in the game, Proctor had a 3-run home run for Shreveport. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Engineers on top, 5-2.
"Good pitching stops good hitting," said Proctor. "And vice-versa."
