The Montgomery Biscuits licked the Midland RockHounds, 5-2. Manuel Montenegro deserved a big chunk of the credit. The designated hitter went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Biscuits. R.J. Roudebush picked up the win in relief for Montgomery, while Matt Rider took the loss. The Biscuits own a robust 53-30 mark.

Montenegro had a timely hit for Montgomery in the top of the seventh. With Montgomery trailing 2-1, he turned a 1-1 changeup into a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season, making it 5-2, Montgomery.
