A 4-RBI performance from the 24-year old center fielder Jayden Brady helped the St. Petersburg Flying Squirrels beat the Shreveport Engineers, 10-3. The winner was Yorick George, who threw 97 pitches over 6.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 6 hits. The 6th-place Flying Squirrels hiked their record to 38-40.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Brady hit a 3-run home run. It thrust the Flying Squirrels into the lead, 4-1.

Brady told a St. Petersburg Observer reporter that he was "delighted" with the win.
