The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.

The Alexandria Aces faced a tough opponent in Midland pitcher Sherlock Guerin, but found a way to pull out the victory at Blue Wahoos Stadium by a final score of 6-5 in 10 innings. Guerin went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs. Alexandria is now 39-39, while Midland is 46-32.

The Aces were down to their final out when second baseman Steve Roe turned a 2-1 fastball from Dustin Cale into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the Blue Wahoos Stadium crowd go wild.

"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Gil Mitchell.
