Biscuits Pick Up 3-1 Win Over Biloxi
In a low-scoring contest between the Montgomery Biscuits and the Biloxi Shuckers, 25-year old right-handed pitcher Troy Perlman proved to be the difference. The Montgomery right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Biscuits win. The winner was Perlman. He threw 6.0 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Antonio Serrato. James Brown got the save, the 1st for him this season.

Montgomery took a 2-0 lead on Lonnie Trester's 8th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Trester hit in the top of the seventh, left Biloxi pitcher Antonio Serrato visibly frustrated.

"I just try to be a dog, have good swings, good at-bats," said Trester.

Montgomery is 42-34 and Biloxi, with the loss, 26-50.
