The Midland RockHounds knocked off the Rocket City Trash Pandas, 10-2, at Security Bank Ballpark. Larry Henning was a big reason Midland won. The third baseman went 3-4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 5. The win for the RockHounds lifted their record to 37-36.

With Midland leading 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Henning hit a fastball from Lombard Knotts for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the RockHounds ahead, 8-2.

"We looked pretty good up and down," said Midland manager Ruben Almendarez.
