RoughRiders 4-3 Losers to Engineers

The Shreveport Engineers defeated the Frisco RoughRiders, 4-3, in Southern League action at Engineers Ballpark. Shreveport pitcher Noah Vavae had a standout performance. Mike Van Tuyl notched his 10th save in 15 chances. The 4th-place Engineers go to 39-30.
Shreveport took a 4-2 lead on Harrison Muir's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Muir hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Frisco pitcher Jonah Chellman visibly frustrated.
"Noah did a good job of managing their lineup," said Shreveport manager Jonas Cavazos.
