St. Petersburg used a superb performance from starting pitcher Liam Arthur to down the Montgomery Biscuits, 8-0. The win boosts the Flying Squirrels to 36-35. The loss puts the Biscuits at 51-20.

Yufemio Guzman had a big 2-run double for the Flying Squirrels in the bottom of the third inning. With St. Petersburg leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Rafael Barrera and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Flying Squirrels ahead, 4-0.

"I loved our energy," said St. Petersburg manager Flip Brooks. "I loved the way we played."
