Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Frisco RoughRiders got the win.

The Frisco RoughRiders weathered an outstanding game by Northwest Arkansas right fielder Dave Jones to topple the Naturals, 4-3. Jones went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. After today's action, Frisco sits at 45-24; Northwest Arkansas slips to 13-56.

Frisco took a 4-3 lead on Gabriel Retana's 1st triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Retana hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Northwest Arkansas pitcher Kayden Mikhailov visibly frustrated.

"They were just a little bit better than us," Northwest Arkansas manager Ben Brewer said.
