Behind the hitting of Floriano Mourino, the Tulsa Drillers stopped the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 8-4. Mourino went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Drillers. Gore Lane, the winner, improved to 2-8. He held Northwest Arkansas to 3 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts.

Maozhen Feng was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles for Tulsa. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring single off Caleb Thornburg. It was his 66th hit of the season.

"Bad luck's the only luck we've had," said Northwest Arkansas manager Tadeu Arana.
