Shuckers Snatch Late-Game, 2-1 Win
The Shuckers faced a stiff challenge from Montgomery pitcher J.J. Richardson, but persevered to claim a win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The final score was 2-1. Richardson went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Aryan Donovan earned the save, his 11th. With the win, the Shuckers improved to 44-23.

Nicolas Tallman had a direct impact on the outcome. Tallman contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Biloxi up, 2-1.

"We scored more than enough runs this time," said Biloxi manager Fernando Salazar. "Now watch. The next game we'll probably struggle to get a base hit."
