Biloxi got a strong outing from Rob Forton as the Shuckers defeated the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 5-2, at Biloxi Grounds. Christopher Disch got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. Biloxi, with the win, climbs to 17-44.

A.J. Becker had a big grand slam home run for the Shuckers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Biloxi leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Ryder Gott and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Shuckers on top, 5-0.

"Rob pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Biloxi manager Fernando Salazar.
