The Midland RockHounds took on the Shreveport Engineers at Engineers Ballpark.
The Midland RockHounds defeated the Shreveport Engineers, 8-3, at Engineers Ballpark. Leading the charge for Midland was designated hitter Nicky Sewell. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Giuliano Lugio got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits in 6 innings. Juan Roblero picked up the save, his 2nd.
Floriano Camargo, the Midland catcher, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to make the score 7-3, RockHounds. For the game, Camargo was 1-3 with a hit by pitch, while adding 2 RBI.
