Engineers Turn Back Drillers, 4-2

The Shreveport Engineers got a stellar effort from pitcher Mason Scott, helping Shreveport score a win over the visiting Tulsa Drillers, 4-2. The Engineers saw their record improve to 36-25.
Detroit, Michigan-born Justin McKevitt came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Engineers trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Shreveport on top.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Scott.
