Montgomery 41-22 After 3-0 Win Over Rocket City
|
Montgomery Biscuits starter B.J. Hineline worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Rocket City Trash Pandas, 3-0. Hineline, now 1-0, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Rudolf Dunn notched his 12th save of the season.
Sidney Wilson had a big 2-run home run for the Biscuits in the bottom of the first inning. With Montgomery leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 26-year old left-handed pitcher Helmer Rocha and punished it. The result was his 13th home run of the season, which put the Biscuits on top, 3-0.
"Sometimes a win comes easy," Wilson told the Montgomery Observer. "And sometimes you have to scratch and claw."
The Biscuits are now 41-22.
