The Rocket City Trash Pandas stopped the Midland RockHounds, 8-3, at Security Bank Ballpark. The Trash Pandas got a big game from Halian Novinger, who went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times. The winner was Luís Valadez in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Freddy McNelis took the loss. Isaiah Hardin closed it out for Rocket City, earning his 2nd save.

Rocket City used the clutch hitting of Fisher Forester to snag the win. The first baseman drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Trash Pandas ahead, 8-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Forester.

The 7th-place Trash Pandas lifted their record to 24-26.
