The Tennessee Smokies got a stellar performance from pitcher Chet Hollenkamp, who handcuffed the St. Petersburg offense en route to a win, 4-0, at Smokies Park. The Smokies bumped their record to 24-23 with this latest triumph.
Hollenkamp picked up the win. He's now 6-1, after putting the St. Petersburg offense in the deep freeze. Over 8.1 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 4 hits.
Tennessee manager Kraig Fagan called it "a good, solid win."
