Travelers Post 11-8 Win Over Mississippi
|
In a high-scoring contest between Arkansas and Mississippi, second baseman Lonnie Bullins was a difference-maker. Bullins distinguished himself in the 11-8 Arkansas win. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Arkansas reliever Lucas Lognion picked up the win to move to 3-0. Sergio Almonte suffered the loss. Arkansas now has a record of 26-15 with the win.
In the top of the first, 27-year old first baseman Crispin Hoge hit a 2-run double. The 6th double of the season for the Arkansas designated hitter put the Travelers on top, 2-0.
"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Hoge.
