The Chattanooga Scouts stymied the Shreveport Engineers, 5-1, at AT&T Field. Colton Starks had a good day at the plate. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Chattanooga. The Scouts have an impressive 27-15 record.

With Chattanooga leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Starks hit a fastball from Roldan Donzelli for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Scouts ahead, 4-0.

Starks called the win "a pick-me-upper."
