Powered by Greyson Lobb, the Biloxi Shuckers downed the St. Petersburg Flying Squirrels, 11-6. Lobb went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks, while scoring 2 times for the Shuckers. Getting the save was Steve McCall, his 1st. The loss makes St. Petersburg 23-20.

Biloxi used a clutch at-bat from Chase Benjamin to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Shuckers ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Dave Donnelly said.
