Yonkers beat Binghamton in a rain-soaked ballgame.

The Yonkers Dark Knights outlasted the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 11-10, in 13 innings. Ralph Wanzer provided some punch at the plate for Yonkers. He went 4 for 6 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The winner was Tyler Livni in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Bryce Patterson took the loss.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Jeremiah Rodriguez came to bat in the top of the 13th. Facing Binghamton pitcher Bryce Patterson, he hit a 2-0 slider for a 2-run double. It was a game-changer, putting Yonkers on top, 10-8.

Binghamton manager Zane Tharp expressed his frustration after the game: "That many runs and it still wasn't enough?"

The Rumble Ponies fall to 7-9 and continue their lackluster start to the 2062 season.
