Skidding Drillers Lose 6th Straight
|
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Montgomery Biscuits faced a tough opponent in Tulsa pitcher Keandre Gonzales, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Hammons Field by a final score of 6-3. Gonzales went 6 innings and allowed 3 runs. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Tulsa.
Anthony González, the 23-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. González contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Montgomery up, 3-2.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," González told the Montgomery Gazette.
