McGill Leads Braves to Win
|
Tracy McGill was instrumental in his team's 9-6 triumph over the San Antonio Missions. The catcher went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Mississippi Braves. Earning his 6th save for Mississippi was Bobby Larson. The Braves now have a record of 15-26 with the win over San Antonio.
Gordy Hughes helped out the Mississippi cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman drew 3 walks in 5 plate appearances.
