Drillers Grind Out 2-1 Win
|
The Tulsa Drillers got a magnificent effort from pitcher Tag Bryan, who kept Jacksonville hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Drillers win at Hammons Field. So far in 2058, Tulsa is 19-22.
Sebastian Crawford had a big run-scoring double for the Drillers in the bottom of the second inning. With Tulsa leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a slider from Hadji Koulibaly and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Drillers ahead, 2-0.
"Tag knows how to get ahead of hitters, stay ahead of hitters, and put people out," said Tulsa manager Spike Peck.
