Alexandria center fielder Luke Dolezal had a good game, even if his team did not. The Aces dropped a 5-4 decision to Chattanooga at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Dolezal went 1-3 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Daryl Lewis nailed down the save. Chattanooga now sits at 22-17, while Alexandria falls to 16-23.

Chattanooga used the timely hitting of Iván Andrade to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Scouts on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Every good pitch to hit is a strike," said Andrade. "But not every strike is a good pitch to hit."
