Travelers Run Win Streak to 9
|
The Arkansas Travelers and starting pitcher Dax Russell stifled the Chattanooga offense en route to a comfortable 8-0 win at Dickey-Stephens Park. The setback makes Chattanooga 16-21.
Early in the game, right fielder Ross Edwards had a run-scoring double for Arkansas. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Travelers on top, 1-0.
"When their pitchers are leaving stuff over the heart of the plate, we're not missing it," said Arkansas manager George French.
