Avery Evjen had a strong outing for the Frisco RoughRiders against the San Antonio Missions at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. Jayden Wright finished the game for Frisco and earned his 8th save. The 6th-place RoughRiders now have a record of 17-16.

In the top of the eighth, Patrick Martin stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Missions were trailing 6-3, but had the bases loaded. That's when Jonah Chellman made a terrific pitch and Martin struck out. Gone was the dream of a San Antonio comeback.
