Naturals Come Back Late to Top Trash Pandas, 3-1
|
In a tight tilt between the Northwest Arkansas Naturals and the Rocket City Trash Pandas, Chris Flury was the deciding factor. The Northwest Arkansas right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Luca Paciocco, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. At 11-18, Northwest Arkansas is in 8th place in the Southern League Texas Division.
Northwest Arkansas needed the clutch hitting of Robin Western to seal the deal. The right fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Naturals on top, 2-0. For the game, Western had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Western told the Northwest Arkansas Daily News.
