The Alexandria Aces and Frisco RoughRiders played an exciting game.

The Aces grabbed a win, 4-3, at Blue Wahoos Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Frisco pitcher Rodney Burgess. Burgess went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs. The save was Nicolas Mendoza's, his 5th.

Chicago, Illinois-born Cristian Harden came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Aces trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Alexandria on top.

Frisco manager John Dresher said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

The Aces are now 11-21.
