Montgomery turned a fine outing from starter Hunter Wallace into a victory over the Frisco RoughRiders at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The final score was 4-2. Montgomery reliever Mitch Day picked up the win, while Brandon Falkner took the loss for Frisco. Jonah Hopkins earned the save for Montgomery.

Montgomery took a 4-2 lead on Quentin Hall's 3rd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Hall hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Frisco pitcher Brandon Falkner visibly frustrated.

"Ah, the sweet taste of victory," Hall crowed after the game.

The win puts Montgomery at 16-12 this season.
