The Northwest Arkansas Naturals got a magnificent performance from pitcher John Andrew Stacy, who muffled the Mississippi offense en route to a tight, 2-0 Naturals win at Trustmark Park. Don Wa closed out the game, earning his 1st save. The Braves, now 7-18, have been pitiful so far.
Evan Croston had a direct impact on the outcome. Croston contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Northwest Arkansas up, 1-0.
Said Mississippi manager Sandy Estrada: "When you don't score, it's never a good thing."
