Engineers Use Late Score to Top Biscuits, 5-4
Montgomery got a valiant performance from pitcher Ethan Bailey, but it wasn't enough to beat the Shreveport Engineers. Shreveport won the game, 5-4. Bailey threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Bill Brown earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record is now 1-1. Shreveport raised its record to 18-10 with the win.

Roderick Freeman was the walk-off hero for Shreveport. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Engineers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was bedlam at the end," Freeman said.
