Engineers Snatch Late-Game, 4-3 Win
The Shreveport Engineers locked up a win at Engineers Ballpark, knocking off the Tennessee Smokies, 4-3. On the mound for Shreveport was right-hander Daniel Aldaco. He played a major role in the triumph. Shreveport reliever Lucas Lognion picked up the win to move to 1-0. Dylan Honda suffered the loss. The win has Shreveport at 15-12.

Shreveport took the lead, 4-3, on Jaiden Rogers's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Tennessee pitcher Dylan Honda in the bottom of the eighth.

"We take it day by day here," said Aldaco, "and today was a good one for us."
