Getting a good performance from designated hitter Juan José Quiñones, the San Antonio Missions defeated the Midland RockHounds, 7-5. Quiñones was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Missions. The RockHounds drop to 9-16, as their fitful start to the 2062 campaign continues.

Quiñones turned the game around in the bottom of the seventh. That's when the San Antonio designated hitter dialed up a 3-run home run. Just like that, San Antonio's 2-1 deficit turned into a 4-2 lead.

"We took home the win," said Quiñones. "What's not to like?"
