Medina Lifts Hooks to 9-2 Triumph
The Corpus Christi Hooks defeated the Frisco RoughRiders, 9-2, at Whataburger Field today. Leading the charge for Corpus Christi was first baseman Manuel Medina. He was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Sherman Psaroulakis got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. The victory makes Corpus Christi 16-8.

Medina had no bigger at-bat than in the bottom of the second when the 27-year old first baseman hit a 2-run double. The double gave Corpus Christi the lead, 5-1. It was his 4th double of the season.

"We maximized our offense today," said Corpus Christi skipper Ramon Guerrero. "That makes everyone's life easier."
