Corpus Christi third baseman Curt McElwee had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-4, to Frisco at Whataburger Field. McElwee went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Spencer Murphy nailed down his 3rd save. The win moves Frisco to a record of 13-10.

Tucker Boulay, who is tied for 4th in the SL in bases on balls with 15, aided the Frisco cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder drew 1 walk.
