The Montgomery Biscuits defeated the Alexandria Aces, 4-3, in Southern League action at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Montgomery pitcher Aidan Morganti had a standout performance. With the loss, Alexandria sinks to 9-14.

The Biscuits got a gift in the bottom of the third inning, when they were leading 3-2. With two out and a runner on 3rd, Lamar Afflerbach reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 4-2, Montgomery.

"Both teams played hard," said Montgomery manager Daniel Adkins.
