Both teams had their chances, but the Pensacola Blue Wahoos eventually prevailed.

Dylan Drake helped his team muscle past the Biloxi Shuckers, 6-5. In the game, the Pensacola second baseman was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win belonged to James Kriesel in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Gabriel Frazer took the loss for Biloxi. Anthony Dunn picked up the save for Pensacola, his 1st of the year.

Drake had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 cutter from Gabriel Frazer, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Blue Wahoos a 6-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Drake.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Biloxi manager Fernando Salazar. "But we decided not to take it."
