Chattanooga beat Northwest Arkansas on the strength of starting pitcher Craig Kendall's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Ingemar Mattox closed out the game, earning his 6th save. Chattanooga, at 15-5, is off to a blistering start.

The Scouts got a big at-bat from second baseman Coltrane Jaimes. For the game, Jaimes was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Chattanooga a 4-3 lead.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Northwest Arkansas manager Tadeu Arana.
