Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Aces
The Alexandria Aces topped the San Antonio Missions, 5-1, in Southern League action at Blue Wahoos Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Alexandria pitcher Todd Jeffers. The loss puts San Antonio at 8-11.

Alexandria took a 4-1 lead on Leo Gerlinsky's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Gerlinsky hit in the bottom of the eighth, left San Antonio pitcher Heath Brito shaking his head.

Jeffers attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
