Trash Pandas Fight for 5-4 Win
The Rocket City Trash Pandas faced a tough opponent in Alexandria pitcher Jared Overstreet, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Blue Wahoos Stadium by a final score of 5-4 in 12 innings. Overstreet went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Isaiah Hardin picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Marcel Urias was tagged with the loss. The win lifts Rocket City to a record of 9-7.

Rocket City used the timely hitting of Jonny Tanner to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Trash Pandas on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We had a chance to win," said Alexandria manager Carson Lee, "but we didn't get it done."
